I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were clean and well-appointed, my dining experience was really poor due to the untrained staff. On the positive side, the location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. However, I wish the restaurant service had been up to par, as it's crucial for business travelers like myself.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and spacious, though I overlooked an alleyway and didn't get much natural light, which was disappointing compared to the photos online.
Service
5.0
The service at the restaurant was a significant letdown. The staff seemed untrained and unable to effectively take drink orders or provide basic hospitality.

I had a decent three-night stay in the Adelaide CBD. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore local dining and entertainment areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering good value for the price. However, I faced some issues with noise levels and housekeeping during my visit, which negatively impacted my overall experience.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean, though a bit dated, and the breakfast was a highlight, served in a lovely setting. However, the dining service needs significant improvement, as my experience at the bar was quite frustrating and detracted from the overall stay.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are clean but feel a little dated. They had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, but the bar service was a challenge due to language barriers and untrained staff.

I had a great overnight stay at the hotel, which is conveniently located in the heart of the city, surrounded by many restaurants and bars. The room I stayed in was comfortable and had a lovely view, adding to my overall experience. The heating and cooling worked well, but I did have a few minor issues with the bathroom and breakfast, which was less than satisfying. Overall, the value for money was good, especially with the included car parking and late checkout.

Rooms
9.0
The Executive King room was spacious and well-furnished, featuring a large comfortable bed and a big window with a city view. It was clean and very comfortable, making it just perfect after a long flight.
Service

The staff were accommodating and provided helpful directions to the parking lot. However, I found it odd that they controlled the air conditioning settings in my room.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly situated in the city center, just a short walk from great dining options and the tram stop. It was easy to access all key attractions, which was a plus.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it. The options were not very appealing, and the first try was less than enjoyable.
Facilities
6.0
I appreciated the amenities provided, but I had some trouble with the indoor pool and spa amenities. The pool felt cold during my visit, which was a letdown.

The Chancellor offers a great stay with clean, spacious rooms and a fantastic location near shopping and dining options. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our experience enjoyable. However, the air conditioning was quite noisy and not effective in warming up the room during winter. Overall, it was a good value for the price, but the noisy air conditioning was a downside.
